1. Supervises and evaluates all teaching and support staff within the school.
2. Is responsible, in conjunction with the coordinators, for the assigning and scheduling of teachers and students.
3. Maintains relations with parents, parent groups, school volunteers, and outside agencies.
4. Participates in district-wide activities, in service workshops, and committees, as appropriate.
5. Is responsible for the educational advancement and growth within the school.
6. Is responsible for the organization, administration, and control of the school.
7. Prepares the school budget and works with budget directors on budgeting/purchasing.
8. Works with respective department coordinators to select educational materials to meet the needs of students and teachers.
9. Works with Central Office Staff to coordinate processes for the effective functioning of the school.
10. Is responsible for the care and safekeeping of the school building and grounds, and all furniture, books, apparatus, equipment, and other related properties.
11. Maintains student discipline, order, and uniformity of organization.
12. Ensures the implementation of all rules and regulations of the Board of Education and the Superintendent of Schools or his/ her representative.
13. Establishes special regulations adaptable to the particular needs or requirements of the school, provided such rules or policies are consistent with the policies approved by the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education.
14. Keeps, or causes to be kept, all records and all reports as may be required.
15. Performs all duties prescribed by law, e.g., fire and other safety regulations.
16. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Deputy Superintendent for Administration or his/her designee
