Job Description

The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill an anticipated Health Teacher position for the 2026-27 school year with an effective start date of September 2, 2026. This is a full-time probationary tenure-track position. The WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development, and mentor support.

Be prepared to upload documents to complete a candidate folder, including three letters of recommendation (bearing the writers' actual signatures and dated within the last 18 months), valid teaching certificate(s), and transcripts.

NOTE:  No letters of recommendation can be written by a current Wappingers Central School District employee.

 

Job Qualifications

Only those candidates holding a valid NYSED certification in Health Education will be considered.
