Job Description

The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill a Special Education Secondary Teacher position for the 2025-26 school year with an effective start date of on or about February 2, 2026. This is a full-time probationary tenure-track position. The WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development, and mentor support.

 

 

Job Qualifications

Only those candidates holding valid NYSED certifications in Students With Disabilities 7-12 or All Grades will be considered. 

Application Procedure

Candidates must be prepared to provide additional documents to complete a candidate folder, including three letters of recommendation bearing the writers' signatures, dated within the last 18 months, a valid teaching certificate, and transcripts.

NOTE: No letters of recommendation can be written by a current Wappingers Central School District employee.
