The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill anticipated Elementary Teacher positions for the 2026-27 school year with an effective start date of September 2, 2026. These are full-time probationary tenure-track positions. The WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development, and mentor support.
Only those candidates holding valid NYSED certifications in Childhood Education (B-2) and/or Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) will be considered. Although the certification required for the position is specific, the school in which the position will be located has yet to be determined.
NOTE: The three letters of recommendation required MUST bear the writers' actual signature and all letters must be dated and less than 18 months old. None of these letters can be written by a current Wappingers Central School District employee.
