Assistant Superintendent of Special Education

The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates for an Assistant Superintendent of Special Education with a start date of on or about July1, 2025. WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits and mentor support.

As a member of the Superintendent’s Senior Staff, he/she is the senior administrator responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of all aspects of the District’s special education programs. This position requires a thorough knowledge of all areas of special education services, programs, laws and regulations relative to this area.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Valid NYS School Administrator/Supervisor, School District Administrator or School Building Leader certification is required.
