Assistant Principal - Secondary

The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates for an anticipated full-time secondary assistant principal vacancy with a start date no later than July 1, 2026. WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits and mentor support. 

The essential duties of the position include ability to supervise all employees in the school when the Principal is absent from the building.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the District’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
